Castle Park & Garden

The Castle complex consists of several gardens.
Park West was redesigned and reinterpreted in 2022, inspired by the garden design from the 19th century. Visual axes have been restored and richly planted herbaceous borders increase the ecological value of this part of the park; the fountain and the historical flowerpots on the balustrade have been preserved.
The statue of Adrian von Bubenberg stands guard on the chestnut terrace and benches with a wonderful view invite visitors to linger.
There is also a small rose garden, which was created in 1969.
A baroque herb garden was created in 2013 in connection with the redesign of the castle kitchen in the castle museum.

The park is open to the public all year round (except on Sunday 6th October 2024 - Swiss Castle Day).
